Karim Adeyemi making a telling contribution to Borussia
Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi is making a telling contribution to his team's Bundesliga title challenge, with six goals and five assists since the turn of the year.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form since joining Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer, and he was once again on target in Saturday's 4-1 win over Hertha Berlin.
Adeyemi's goal put Dortmund 2-0 up in the first half, and he also played a key role in Erling Haaland's third goal of the game.
After the match, Adeyemi said that he was "very happy" with his performance and that he was "proud" to be playing for Dortmund.
"I'm just trying to help the team as much as I can," he said. "I'm still young, but I'm learning a lot and I'm confident that I can continue to improve."
Dortmund are now just two points behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table, and Adeyemi is confident that his team can challenge for the title.
"We have a great team and we're all very motivated," he said. "We know that it will be difficult, but we believe that we can do it."
