Team USA high jumper Shelby McEwen cleared 236 meters on Saturday to claim silver at the 2024 Paris Olympics. McEwen has shored up a spot in his second Olympic Games. McEwen leapt to a height of 230m to win.

Shelby McEwen of Abbeville, Mississippi and world indoor champion Hamish Kerr of New Zealand battled in a jump-off.
